Sunday service
PARIS – Marilyn Hammond will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8. The sermon will be “Gift of a Lifetime,” during which Hammond will “take a look at some of the ways in which older is better.” The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist, with Renee Wales as soloist. Wales will also direct the Sunday school. Child care will be provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Church meeting
HEBRON – The Hebron Community Baptist Church will hold its 215th annual meeting after the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Jan. 8. The meeting will be held in the dining room followed by a potluck lunch with beverage and dessert provided. Child care will be available. For details, call Pastor Dalessandro at 966-2694.
