LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a report of a theft of $8,400 from the Jug Hill Riders Snowmobile Club.

A representative of the club reported Dec. 30 that club members have reviewed their books and discovered that the money was taken over a period of four years, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Lt. Tom Gould is in the preliminary stages of investigating the matter.
