LEWISTON – National Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars James R. Mueller of Missouri has announced the appointment to Arthur J. Roy, past All-American State Commander, Department of Maine VFW, as vice chairman of the National Veterans Employment and Training Committee.

Roy will serve on the committee at the VFW and Auxiliary National Community Service and Legislative Conference at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C., March 5 to 8.

Roy is post senior vice commander and adjutant of the VFW on Minot Avenue and is District 9 quartermaster, state VFW public relations officer and chairman of the Veterans Memorial Cemetery Association in Augusta.
