NORWAY – Barbara MacKenzie Adams, 80, of Norway died Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Mason Township on March 21, 1925, the daughter of Allen and Rose McAllister MacKenzie. She attended West Paris High School and had been a homemaker all of her life.

She was a housekeeper in various homes. She married Howard E. Adams on May 19, 1945. She enjoyed snowmobiling, dancing and planting flowers in her gardens.

She is survived by two sons, Craig E. Adams and his wife, Kathleen, of Stoneham and Bradley H. Adams and his wife, Karen, of North Waterford; three grandchildren, Bethany Rogers, Jesse Adams and Erin Adams; four great-grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Allyson and Chandler Adams; a half-sister, Betty Davis, of Norway; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Howard on April 2, 2004; and a brother, Herbert A. MacKenzie.
