Accidents
Auburn

• Vehicles driven by Cheryl A. Stain, 43, of Windham, and Li Qing Chen, 43, of Gray, collided at 7:15 p.m. Thursday on Washington Street. Damage to Stain’s 1987 Chevrolet was estimated at $4,000; to Chen’s 1995 Chevrolet, $3,000. Both vehicles were towed.

• A vehicle driven by Linnie Goodwin, 49, of Lisbon, slid off Riverside Drive at 5:20 p.m. Thursday and sank in a pond at 5:20 p.m. Damage to Goodwin’s 1994 Ford was estimated at $2,200. It was towed.

• Andrea Reed, 43, of Durham, reported an estimated $5,000 damage to her 2006 Toyota while it was parked at 12:40 p.m. Friday in the Verizon Wireless lot on Center Street.

• A vehicle driven by Bradford Knowles, 30, of Auburn, slid off Lake Shore Drive at 8:18 a.m. Friday and struck some rocks. Damage to Knowles’ 2001 Subaru was estimated at $8,000.

• Vehicles driven by Michael B. Hawley, 37, and John P. Plourde, 59, both of Auburn, collided at 8:51 a.m. Friday on Minot Avenue. Damage to the 2005 Nissan, driven by Hawley and owned by Enterprise Rent-a-Car, was estimated at $500; to Plourde’s 2002 Pontiac, $3,000.
