RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Melanson was celebrated Friday morning at St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur, pastor, as the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Readings were done by Chris Tadema-Wielandt and Brenda Sassi. The eulogy was given by Christopher Jones. Pallbearers were Lee Marshall, Christopher Jones, Robin Roy, Rick Donald, Michael Mann and Jim Stone. Interment in the spring will be at the Farrington Morton Cemetery, Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
