PORTLAND (AP) – Curtis Glencross scored two goals in the last 1:36 to lead the Portland Pirates to a 5-3 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday.

Geoff Peters gave Portland the lead 2:02 into the game, but Jarkko Immonen tied it at 19:33 on a power play. The Pirates went back ahead 2-1 on Dustin Penner’s goal 45 seconds into the second period.

Chad Wiseman evened the score again with a goal at 3:13.

The clubs traded goals again in the third period, with Pierre Parenteau scoring for Portland and Immonen countering for Hartford two minutes later.

Glencross scored the game winner on a breakaway at 18:24 and then added an empty-net goal.

Pirates’ goalie Dieter Kochan stopped 53 shots. Hartford’s Robert Gherson made 24 saves.
