FARMINGTON – Three people arrested last May during a drug sting operation were indicted by a Franklin County grand jury Monday.
Victor Silva, 24, of Farmington was indicted on two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.
Silva was one of nearly two dozen alleged drug dealers rounded up by officers from several police departments and drug agencies on May 5, 2005, in a multiagency operation over a period of several months. He was released from Franklin County Jail the day after his arrest only to be arrested a second time May 7.
The second arrest was at an apartment complex on Sawtelle Lane in Farmington after someone reported suspicious activity near a vacant apartment there. Police said they found him descending the steps of the building and discovered a bottle of liquid Oxycodone in his pocket during a routine pat down. Possessing the drug was a violation of his release.
Also indicted Monday were Leo E. Lindley, 32, and Elizabeth Ross, 24, both of Farmington. Lindley was indicted on two counts of unlawful trafficking of drugs and Ross on one count of trafficking.
