LIVERMORE FALLS – Police have turned an investigation of missing snowmobile funds over to the Androscoggin County Sheriff Department.

Members of the Jug Hill Riders Snowmobile Club reported Dec. 30 that about $8,400 was missing from their club over a four-year period.

Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday that his department started the investigation but has since decided to turn it over to the county for investigation.
