Two stores are accepting donations for Emily Beaulieu’s birthday toy drive.

KB Toys at the Auburn Mall will take toys, as will the Book Burrow at 593 Center St. in Auburn. Donations can be dropped off until Jan. 22, Emily’s 7th birthday.

Emily, a home-schooler in Litchfield, asked her family and friends to give her no birthday gifts this year. Instead, she has asked her party guests to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to Catholic Charity’s Toy Box, a program that provides toys to young fire victims. Community members who also wish to donate to her toy drive can do so by dropping off toys at KB Toys and the Book Burrow.
