TORONTO – Chris Bosh had 29 points and 10 rebounds and Mike James added 24 points for the Toronto Raptors in a 95-86 victory over the injury-ravaged Charlotte Bobcats.

Morris Peterson had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Raptors, who have won six of eight.

Jumaine Jones had 17 points for the Bobcats, who were missing Emeka Okafor (sprained ankle), Kareem Rush (sprained ankle), Sean May (sore right knee) and Melvin Ely (sprained ankle).

Point guard Brevin Knight didn’t play in the second half because of back spasms.

Charlotte beat Houston in double overtime on Tuesday, and the Bobcats seemed to tire in the final minutes as Toronto finished the game on a 11-1 run.

James started the run with two free throws, giving Toronto the lead for good with 2:12 left

Peterson followed with a key 3-pointer that gave Toronto an 89-85 lead with 1:25 remaining.

After Bosh made two free throws, James had a steal and a fastbreak layup to make it 93-85 with 58 seconds left.

Toronto outscored Charlotte 32-23 in the fourth quarter.

The Raptors went on a season-high five-game winning streak before losing two in a row. They seemed to take the undermanned Bobcats lightly as they trailed by 12 points at halftime. Fans booed the Raptors in the final seconds of the half as Charlotte finished the second quarter on a 10-0 run that included four layups.

Notes: The Bobcats have lost five of six. … Okafor, the reigning NBA rookie of the year, had to be helped from the floor in the second overtime after scoring 21 points Tuesday night. Okafor, who returned Tuesday after an eight-game absence with a sprained ankle, reinjured himself when he stepped on someone’s foot and was on crutches after the game.
