PORTLAND – Norman Houle has been named president of the Maine Telecommunications Users Group. He is the director of information technology at the law firm Pierce Atwood LLP.

MTUG is an organization of more than 700 individuals who share an interest in telecommunications technology and issues. The group is a mix of small to large businesses, vendors, telephone and Internet service providers, consultants, government employees and the public.

Houle is a resident of Arundel.
