STORRS, Conn. (AP) – Connecticut basketball coach Jim Calhoun was back at work Tuesday, a day after dehydration and lightheadedness from a sinus infection forced him to leave a game early.

“Coach was in the office today and feeling fine,” university spokesman Kyle Muncy said.

Calhoun left the bench Monday night with less than four minutes to go in No. 3 Connecticut’s 88-80 win at No. 20 Syracuse. Calhoun took the bus back from Syracuse with the team and was feeling better by the time it arrived in Hartford about 2 a.m. Tuesday, Muncy said.

The team is to return to practice Wednesday afternoon. Connecticut (15-1, 3-1 Big East) next plays No. 17 Louisville in a conference game Saturday.
