Sunday leader

PARIS – Marilyn Hammond will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, on Sunday, Jan. 22. The sermon at the 10 a.m. service is titled, “Gift of a Lifetime,” during which Hammond will “take a look at some of the ways in which older is better.”

The music will be by the choir and Forest Perkins, church organist. Renee Wales will direct the Sunday school. Child care will be provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Flower show

FRYEBURG – A home, garden and flower show will take place on May 19, 20 and 21 at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds

There will be more than 60,000 square feet of home and garden related products, indoor/outdoor exhibits, artists, “Meet the Chefs” cooking series and seminars by Paul Parent, “The Garden Guru.”
