PORTLAND – Dustin Alonzo Keating Bubier, died on Jan. 16, from a rare lung disease at 55-days-old.

Born on Nov. 23, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Dustin loved his mom and dad, his family and all the special caregivers who helped him everyday.

He loved to watch his mobile, his favorite rattle, his pacifier and listening to music. It was important to him to know what was going on around him and he was a very strong and determined boy.

Dustin is survived by his parents, David and Angel Bubier of New Portland; a brother, John Bubier, Lance Corporal Marine currently stationed in Iraq; one great-grandmother, Irene Dodge of Phillips; paternal grandparents, Paul and Marie Bubier of Phillips; maternal grandparents, Bill and Jerreanne Keating of Berlin, Conn.; uncle, Jason Bubier and his wife, Diana and cousin, Noah of Bar Harbor; aunt, Paula Callahan and husband, Sean and cousin, Sean Morgan of Northborough, Mass.; uncle, Greg Keating and wife, Robin and cousins, Andy, Billy and Timmy of Plainville, Conn.; aunt, Linda Duncan and husband, Dave of Higganum, Conn.; and many other special aunts, uncles and cousins and close loved ones.
