LEWISTON – Michel L. Cote, 67, of Lisbon Road., Lisbon died Thursday morning, Jan. 19, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness.

He was born in St. Angeles, Canada, June 17, 1938, the son of Benoit and Aurore (Mailhot) Cote. For many years, he was employed for H.E. Sargent Construction Co. as a superintendent. He enjoyed fishing, and gardening.

Survivors include two daughters, Johanne and her husband, Bill Healey, of Lewiston, Guylaine and her husband, Paul Fillion, of Durham; former wife and mother of their children, Pierrette (Paquin) Frechette; six sisters, Claudine and her husband, Gaston Lemieux, Mireille and her husband, Jean Biron, Audette and her husband, Jeannot Camire, Therese and her husband, Yves Lapointe, and Micheline Cote; four brothers, Yves and his wife, Lucie Duval, Daniel and his wife, Therese Vigneault, Mario and his wife, Loraine Gaudet, Jean Claude and his wife, Lise Dufresne; and four grandchildren, Eric and Nicole Fillion, Roxanne and Billy Healey.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Nicole Gelinas and Hugette Cote .
