LEWISTON – Funeral services for Mr. Bates were held Friday morning at the Albert and Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Kevin Martin, who also recited prayers of committal at the Mount Hope Cemetery Tomb. There will be a burial in the spring. The Lewiston Police Department had honor guards and a color guard, Scott Bradeen, played the bagpipes to the song of “White Cliffs of Dover.” Pallbearers were family members, Jill Raymond, Trisha Raymond, Rhonda Cluckley, Bridey Ballard, Patrick Bolduc, Jan Raymond and Laura B. Roy.
