OGUNQUIT – The wedding of Christine Valerie Anctil and Patrick Lacey Garner was held at 5:30 p.m. on June 25 in an outdoor ceremony at the Cliff House Resort in Ogunquit. Dr. James Pitts from Furman University, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Garner is the daughter of Lionel and Patricia Anctil of Lewiston. Mr. Garner is the son of Steve and Gail Garner of Taylors, S.C.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless silk gown in diamond white in A-line style with light pink sash and bow and she carried a bouquet of Calla lilies wrapped with a pink ribbon.
Sandra Zaccari, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer White, Maryann Korth, Hope Moore, Regina Roberts and Kimberly Murry, friends, and Lisa Anctil, sister-in-law. Flower girls were Emily Anctil, niece, and Aziah Roberts, friend.
Tom Garner served as best man for his brother, and ushers were Scott Anctil, brother of the bride, and Wayne Brown, Jason Theiss, Greg Buckner, Tom Wideman, Geoff Bentzel and Jeff Schilz, friends. Jake Zaccari, son of the matron of honor, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Cliff House Resort and Spa, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s College in Windham and is employed at Greenville Memorial Hospital and University Medical Center.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and is employed as a sales executive for Stoncor Inc. in South Carolina.
