When I read the article in the Jan. 11 newspaper about Motley Crue coming to the Colisee and saw that ticket sales were not doing so good, I had no sympathy for the promoters of such an event.
After seeing their picture, once again, on Friday’s Encore insert of the newspaper, I am now more convinced of the thoughts I have against a group of this sort. I hope they don’t sell another ticket.
With all the different kinds of entertainment available out there, why would anyone invite the likes of people like that?
I think our local police have enough problems to deal with without asking for more.
If this concert sells out eventually, I can see why we have so many problems in this crazy world of ours. If a person will pay $47 to $77 for a ticket to see this, besides the prices some will pay, if purchased online for $110 to $290 a ticket, then I can see there is not much hope for this country to ever return to the good old days.
I understand the Colisee needs money in a steady stream to make ends meet, but for God’s sake there must be something out there that can suit all ages.
