LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Miller who died Jan. 19 was held Monday morning at Saints Peter and Paul Basilica following prayers at the Pinette Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Lariviere celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at the interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Following committal prayers the United States Naval Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to Bob’s wife, Georgette in recognition of her husband’s service to his country during the Vietnam Conflict. The pallbearers were Chris Miller, Zach Morin, Joe Friscella, James Morin, Dan Harding, and Derek LaPointe. A reception of fellowship followed the services at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements were by the family owned Pinette Funeral Chapel.
