GORHAM – Alexis Handy of Lewiston, a sophomore music theater major at the University of Southern Maine, will be among the performers in “By Rodgers!,” a musical revue showcasing the songs of the Rodgers family.

Created and directed by Edward Reichert, the show will feature music written by composer Richard Rodgers, his daughter Mary Rodgers and grandson Adam Guettel. All of the show’s performers are musical theater students at USM.

Handy will perform three numbers in the show, “Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair” from the musical “South Pacific”; “Shy” from the musical “Once Upon a Mattress”; and “My Funny Valentine” from the musical “Babes in Arms.”

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, in Corthell Concert Hall, USM Gorham campus. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. Reservations may be made by calling the box office at 780-5555.

A 2004 graduate of Lewiston High School, Handy is the daughter of Jim and Sharon Deveau Handy of Lewiston.
