What’s the matter, Sun Journal? A slow news day (Jan. 18)?

I had to do a double-check of the newspaper masthead to make sure I hadn’t grabbed a copy of The Weekly World News. This is above-the-fold, lead-story material? The “Virgin Mary” on a fire-blackened wall? Argghh.

What’s next, “Bishop seen on biscuit?” “Pope seen on pickle?” Or will it be the ever-popular “Cardinal seen in crab dip?”

Please, there must be something of more value to feature. If I want those types of stories, I’ll pick up a tabloid at the checkout counter with Elvis on the cover.
