OXFORD – The Rambling Rose Red Hatters of Oxford, a new Red Hat Society chapter, has elected Diane Page as the queen mother.
The Red Hatters met recently at the Village Inn in Auburn for dinner and to plan their February meeting. The meeting will be a slumber party with a Chinese boxed lunch exchange, games, movies and surprises planned by the hostess of the month, Sue Verrill.
The Red Hatters are planning to send a donation to a Red Hat chapter in New Orleans.
It is hoped that a long distance relationship with sister Red Hatters will be established and sharing letters, pictures, post cards and ideas will be a routine activity. The Red Hatters invite anyone interested in joining the group to call Page at 539-2668.
