LEWISTON – The Midcoast Symphony has scheduled three performances at the Franco-American Heritage Center on Cedar Street.

Friday, Feb. 3: “The Sounds of Scandinavia,” works by Edvard Grieg and Jean Sibelius. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and be repeated at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Orion Performing Arts Center, Topsham. Tickets are $13.50 and may be purchased online at www.midcoastsymphony.org; or at Victor News or Carroll’s Music in Lewiston and Gulf of Maine Books, Brunswick, or Magnolias, Bath.

Friday, March 31: “A Maine Legend – Frank Glazer, Piano,” concertos by Mozart and Beethoven

Friday, May 19: “Made in America,” an all-American program featuring the Maine premier of a new work by composer Joan Tower
