LEWISTON – Kathleen C. Bourgault, regional director of Patient Financial Services at Central Maine Healthcare, has been elected president of the Maine Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
Bourgault has been active in the Maine chapter for many years, serving in various leadership roles. As a state president, she will serve on the national association’s board of directors.
A Central Maine Healthcare employee since 1990, her role has grown to include responsibility for patient access and accounts receivable for a regional health-care system comprised of three hospitals and multi-specialty physician practices.
She holds an associate degree in management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s College in Standish. In 1996, she was awarded certified patient account manager status by the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
She lives in Minot with her husband, Keith. They have two grown daughters, Katie and Kellie.
