READFIELD – The wedding of Melissa Nicole Gray and Jason Allen Tims was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the Jesse Lee Church in Readfield. The Rev. Karen Munson officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Tims is the daughter of Richard and Katherine Gray of Monmouth. Mr. Tims is the son of Allen and Charlene Tims of Readfield.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Nicole Gray was maid of honor for her sister, and Bill Tims was best man for his brother.
A reception followed at the Readfield Lions Club, after which the couple spent a week in Aruba.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2001 graduate of Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. She is employed as marketing coordinator at the Kennebec Journal.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Maranacook Community High School and a 2000 graduate of Kennebec Valley Technical College. He is employed as installation and repair technician for Fairpoint New England in Standish.
