WESTBOOK – Two local men were injured Saturday morning when the truck they were in was hit by a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Brunswick woman.

Jerome Millett, 62, of Poland, was driving south on the Maine Turnpike at about 9:15 a.m. when his pickup truck was struck and forced off the road.

The accident happened at mile 48 in Westbrook.

Dennis Audet, 59, of Minot, was in the passenger seat and was ejected from the truck when it flipped.

Millett was treated and released, and Audet is listed in fair condition at Maine Medical Center, according to a nursing supervisor.
