• A 2003 Subaru wagon owned by Paul Larsen, Rumford, was hit by an unidentified vehicle at 10:41 a.m. Jan. 21, when it was parked on Ellis Avenue. The unidentified vehicle is believed to be a pickup truck. When the truck backed into Larsen’s Subaru, the driver failed to stop. An estimated $1,500 was done to Larsen’s vehicle. The Dixfield Police Department is investigating the incident.

• A 2005 Nissan pickup truck driven by Paul R. Dumas, 59, of Highland Terrace, Mexico, sustained $2,500 damage when it slid off Woodcock Lane at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 20.
