FARMINGTON – Advances in health-care technology is the theme of an open house on Feb. 6 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ben Franklin Education Center at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Anyone with an interest in learning more about the latest innovations is invited to attend. Information about computerized medical records, laboratory analyzers, echocardiography and satellite education programs for distance learning will be available.

Exhibits and demonstrations will be part of the open house. Hospital departments participating are: radiology, medical records, cardiopulmonary, surgical services, laboratory, education, the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, and ScoreKeeper, as well as Central Maine Medical Center’s School of Nursing.

“Technology in Health Care” is open to the public free of charge. For additional information, people can contact the education office at 779-2451.
