CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A 25-year-old Boston man was sentenced Monday to 10 years in federal prison on several weapons charges.
Prosecutors said Monty Granger was arrested after an investigation by federal agents and Dover police in the illegal purchase of weapons from New Hampshire and Maine gun dealers for resale on the street in Boston.
Granger had pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to five counts of violating the law that bans convicted felons from having firearms.
