LEWISTON – Juliette (Dumond) Voisine, 87, of Lisbon, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 31, at d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness.

She was born in Wallagrass, on May 12, 1918, oldest daughter of Albert and Isabelle (Labbe) Dumond and was educated in Wallagrass schools. She married Philip Voisine on Dec. 29, 1936. He died Oct. 13, 1989.

They lived and worked in Lewiston for about 20 years, then moved to New Britain, Conn., where they lived and worked for another 20 years. After their retirement, they moved to Lisbon.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Ladies’ of St. Ann at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. She will be sadly missed by her family.

She leaves five daughters, Rina Harvey and her husband, Elroy, of Bowdoin, Marie Roy and her husband, Alphee, of Lewiston, Georgette Rohrig and her husband, Raymond, of Danielson, Conn., Patricia Defosse and her husband, Roger, of Bristol, Conn. and Linda Joyce and her husband, Micah Johnson, of Travelers Rest, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Adrienne Levesque of Canterbury, Conn., Lucienne Evans of Auburn, Jeanne Hood and husband, Earle, of Fairfield and Patricia Cote and husband, Laurent, of Lewiston; five brothers, Patrick Dumond of Lisbon, Harold Dumond of South Carolina, Maurice Dumond and wife, Yvonne, of Leeds, Adolphe Dumond of Auburn and Paul Dumond and wife, Roseanne, of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Philip; two sons, Louis and Milferd; four brothers, Albert Jr., Leecori, Normand and Richard.
