LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club has grown by another new member. Induction ceremonies were held on Jan. 26 to welcome Heather Rideout into the club.
Rideout is president of File-Busters LLC, located in Lisbon. She is married to David Rideout and has three children. In addition to being an instrument rated pilot, Rideout is an avid outdoor sportswoman and is interested in environmental activities.
The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary is a service club dedicated to raising funds in order to benefit the community in a variety of ways. Annually the club distributes six $1,000 scholarships to local students pursuing higher education and awards grants in varying amounts to nonprofit organizations.
Anyone interested in learning more about Rotary or becoming a member is invited to join members Thursday noons at the Ramada Inn.
