LEWISTON – The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM/Lewiston-Auburn on Friday, Feb. 10, will feature Paul G. Caron, well known stage performer and composer, who will present “Behind the Curtain,” a program about directing a musical play.

Currently the musical director for the upcoming Community Little Theatre production of “Grand Hotel,” Caron is also a composer and lyricist. His award-winning musical, “Lewiston: A New Home,” was recently presented in a concert version at the Franco-American Heritage Center.

His credits include composing liturgical music in his position as part of the music ministry at Holy Family Church.

The program will be held in the function room at USM/ L-A beginning at noon. The cost, which includes lunch, is $6 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, which will open at 11:30 a.m. Reservations should be made by noon on Thursday, Feb. 9, by calling 753-6510, or at usm.maine.edu/lac.
