portland – Juliette T. “Mom” Morin, 77, of Bethel, died in Portland on Feb. 1.

She was born in Lewiston on March 25, 1928, the daughter of Arthur and Elna (Paradis) Lacasse and attended St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s school. She married Antoine Morin on June 23, 1951; he died July 24, 1988. She had been a homemaker most of her life. She was an avid reader, was a member of Curves and the Pleasant Valley Bible Church of West Bethel. Her family was her life, especially her grandchildren. All of her family hold her very dear to their hearts

She is survived by four sons, Donald Morin and his wife, Roberta, of Albany, Robert Morin and his wife, Cheryl, of Andover, Raymond Morin and his wife, Tracy, of Greenwood and Ronald Morin and his wife, Tracy, of Andover; five daughters, Rita Sweetser and her husband, Lloyd, of Bethel, Connie Bretton and her husband, Victor, of Rumford Center, Jacqui Morin and her companion, Richard Wakefield, of Greenwood, Linda Denton and her husband, Larry, of Vacaville, Calif. and Nancy Annis and her husband, David, of Bethel; four brothers, Leo Lacasse of Auburn, Maurice Lacasse of Lisbon, the Rev. Robert Lacasse of Bolivia and Paul Lacasse of Sabattus; two sisters, Rita Morency of Auburn and Lorraine Farpelha of Oregon; 28 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many special friends from Curves and the Pleasant Valley Bible Church; and a special friend, Frank Watson of Gilead.

She was predeceased by her husband, Antoine Morin; and six brothers, Marcel, Ferdinand, Emile, Romeo, Norman and Roland.
