LEWISTON – The Lewiston Lady Blue Devils hockey team earned a tie and a victory in recent action.

The Lady Devils and Fryeburg skated to a 3-3 deadlock. Michelle Rancourt netted 2 goals for Lewiston. Kelsey Rodrigue scored the other. Assists went to Kelly Carver, Marie Mathieu and Rodrigue. Katie Avery made 18 saves in goal.

Lewiston edged previously-unbeaten Falmouth 2-1. Trailing 1-0 in the first period, the Lady Devils tied it on a goal by Katie Cobb, with Carver assisting. With 3 mintues left in the game, Stephanie Doucette collected the winning goal, with Cobb and Rodrigue drawing assists. Avery was credited with 27 saves.

Lewiston is now 7-3-2 on the season.
