TURNER-Business Manager Christopher Trenholm has resigned effective Feb. 17 from the SAD 52 post he has held for the past six years.
He will become finance director and treasurer for the cty of Auburn on Feb. 20.
Trenholm of Monmouth has served the Greene, Leeds and Turner district during a period of significant renovations and additions to the Greene Central School and the Tripp Middle School in Turner, a land purchase in Greene to accommodate the major addition, and successful contract negotiations.
He said he is “proudest of the relationships and trust the district leadership has built with the citizens of the three towns over the past years.”
He will be entering the municipal financial field for the first time, as he has previously served in financial positions with the Winslow, China, Vassalboro school district, Central Maine Power Co, and International and Great Northern paper companies.
Trenholm is a graduate of the University of Maine – Machias
