LEWISTON – Gerard and Jeannine Gaudette of Lewiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4.
In August a celebration was kicked off with a limousine ride, where they drove past the place where he proposed to her and reminisced about their years together. They were very surprised when the limousine brought them to the Village Inn, where they were greeted by many family members and friends. They enjoyed a wonderful and entertaining evening.
Hosting the party was their daughter, Doreen Amberg, and her husband, Brian, of Florida, their son, Jay Gaudette, and his wife, Amy, of Livermore and their daughter, Donna Brown, of Sabattus.
Original wedding attendant present was Cecil Gagne of Lewiston. Other family members present were their grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, James Turner III, Nicole Amberg, Brian Amberg II, Zechariah Brown, Becky Brown, Leland Bailey and Hannah Gaudette. There is a great-grandchild, Brendon Turner, expected this year.
