LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial for Clarice Bourgoin, who died Feb. 1, was held Saturday morning at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul following prayers and a story read by Terry Royer, “The Fall of Freddie the Leaf,” at Pinette Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Robert Lariviere celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

During Mass, the burial pall representing baptism into new life was placed on the casket by Clarice’s immediate family. Lisa St. Pierre read the Old Testament reading, and Linda Lebrun read the New Testament reading. Presentation of the Eucharist was brought to the alter by Craig and Katelyn Sirois.

Pallbearers were Rhonda Reynolds, Pamela Bean, Jennifer Ward, Brandy Rubinstein, Pauline King, Carol Sirois and Sally Triano.

A reception of fellowship followed the conclusion of services at the Korn Haus Keller Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements were by the family owned Pinette Funeral Chapel, Lewiston.
