DIXFIELD – Craig T. “Lange” Langervin, 20, died Friday, Feb. 3, as a result of an automobile accident on Route 108 in Canton. He was a resident of Main Street, Dixfield.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 29, 1986, and graduated in 2004 from Dirigo High School in Dixfield. He was employed at Irving Wood Products in the White Pine Division in Dixfield.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Mission Church in Dixfield.

He was a good athlete and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was very proud of his brother, Keith, and sister, Kaitlin. Craig was loved for his outgoing attitude and love of life. He was caring, strong, loyal and always there for others.

Survivors include his dad, Daniel Langervin, his mother, Nina Buotte Langervin, a brother, Keith, and a sister, Kaitlin Langervin, all of Dixfield; maternal grandmother, Vivian Buotte, of Mexico; dad’s paternal grandparents, Bill and Barbara Hodge, of Dixfield; a very special godmother, Lorie Buotte, of Rumford; his uncle, Bill Buotte of Mexico; the love of his life, Cerese Marie Richardson, and her mother, Nancy and husband, Wayne Mercier, and his special little brother and sister, Myles and Sandy Mercier, all of Rumford; and his best friend who loved him like a brother, Kyle Dolloff, of Canton.

His many friends and special classmates that loved him will always hold a special place in their hearts for him.

As a final tribute to “Lange,” be as good a friend to others as he has been to you. Although we have all cried and died some, we will always be proud of you, Craig.
