AUBURN – David Clark has been hired as sales director for Formed Fiber Technologies Inc.

Clark is responsible for the marketing and sales of molded parts and nonwoven goods to carmakers in the domestic segment of the company’s customer base.

During the past five years, Clark was director of Global Business Development and General Manager-European Operations for Longwood Industries, an automotive and industrial components manufacturer in Greensboro, N.C. Previously, he was director of operations- Mexico, with Burlington Industries. He also spent more than 10 years with Lear Corp. in various sales and operations capacities worldwide.

Clark received his degree in finance and economics from Susquehanna University, and received his master’s degree in international marketing and business policy from Wake Forest University.

Early in his professional life, Clark, who is fluent in Spanish, served in the Peace Corps as an economic development consultant providing technical guidance to small businesses in Paraguay.
