AUBURN – A grand jury indicted two men Wednesday in connection with a double homicide in Lewiston.
Thomas Dyer and Gary Gauthier Jr. both of Auburn, were charged with murder.
The two slain men, John Graffam and James Vining, also of Auburn, were found dead near railroad tracks in late October along Foss Road. A police affidavit said the two men were beaten with a baseball bat.
Dyer and Gauthier have been held at Androscoggin County Jail without bail.
