An annual spectacle of the fish and game department, Augusta, Saturday was the presence of a number of beaver skins, which had been brought there for the purpose of sale, and some of which were very handsome specimens. The skins came from Somerset county, and the beavers which wore them were taken by wardens under the direction of the commissioners of inland fisheries and game, under the law which allows the beavers to be so taken when they are found to be doing damage to property.
