BETHEL – Lindsay Hart netted 11 points Wednesday to lead a trio of players in double digits as Telstar rolled past Lisbon 53-33 in the season girls’ basketball finale for both squads.

Kelsey Dole and Bailey Davis also tallied 11 points for the Rebels (12-6), while Liz Rosenberg added eight.

The Greyhounds were paced by Christie McAuliffe with seven points, while Mindy Sullivan added six. Telstar jumped out to a 20-8 lead in the first quarter and never trailed.

Buckfield 49, Richmond 20

BUCKFIELD – Shayna Shackford tallied 12 points and Buckfield’s defense held Richmond down in a 49-20 victory in an East-West Conference tilt Wednesday.

Tristan Newton chipped in with 10 points for Buckfield (9-8), including a pair of 3-pointers.

Brittani Carver sparked the Bobcats (2-16) with 10 points, and Brianna Clifford added four more points.

Livermore Falls 66, Carrabec 48

LIVERMORE FALLS – Lacey Hazelton poured in 13 points and pulled down an amazing 20 rebounds to propel Livermore Falls to a 66-48 victory over Carrabec in girl’s hoops action.

Taryn Flagg led the Andies (14-4) with 19 points and five steals, while Jenika Kelley tallied 14 points.

The Cobras (4-14) were paced by Tiffany Gurney with a solid 14-point performance, while Suzy Cote tallied eight. Kristina Earle and Amy Campbell also contributed with seven points apiece.

Livermore Falls held a 33-26 advantage at the half and pulled steadily away for the win.

Kents Hill 66, Hebron 23

KENTS HILL – Aleigh Mills scored a game-high 14 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and dished off seven steals as Kents Hill ran away from Hebron 66-23 in girls’ prep school basketball action Wednesday.

Jane Povalkis tallied 13 points and swiped nine balls for the Huskies (11-2), who harassed Hebron into 30 turnovers in the game.

Jackie Gershman-Manocchi chipped in with 12 points, while Alessandra Rohde added 10.

Kainani Stevens paced Hebron (3-11) with nine points, and Amy Shackford added seven points, including five buckets from the free-throw line. Kents Hill jumped out to a 22-1 advantage in the first quarter and was never challenged.

Winthrop 68, Hall-Dale 57

FARMINGDALE – Emilie Knight knocked down 24 points and chipped in with 12 rebounds and six blocked shots as Winthrop handled Hall-Dale 68-57. It was the first loss of the season for the Bulldogs.

Amanda Garwood had 17 points, 11 from the free-throw line, to go with seven rebounds and six steals, Katie Pushard had 15 points and eight assists, and Lindsey Gordon had 12 and seven boards for the Ramblers (14-4).

Kaitlyn Laughlin torched the nets with 31 points to spark Hall-Dale (17-1). Chelsea Dionne added 14 points.

Boys’ basketball

Waterville 55, Oak Hill 40

WATERVILLE – Finley Allen poured in 22 points to power Waterville to a 55-40 victory over Oak Hill in a boys’ basketball season finale for both teams Wednesday.

Nate Lancaster and Conner McCarthy each added nine points for the Panthers (7-11), who closed the game strong with a 23-12 run in the fourth quarter.

Mike Eaton paced the Raiders (0-18) with 13 points. Ethan Guerette added nine points, and Ryan Bisson knocked down a pair of 3-pointers for six points.

Richmond 61, Buckfield 42

BUCKFIELD – Glendon Kendrik drained a game-high 19 points Wednesday to lead Richmond to a 61-42 win over Buckfield in boys’ basketball action.

Billy Milne chipped in for the Bobcats (13-3) with 13 points, while Brian Lancaster added nine. Richmond held a commanding 37-20 advantage at the half and was never seriously challenged.

The Bucks (8-8) were paced by Jamie Henderson with 13 points, while Chris Reuter tallied 10.
