FARMINGTON – Husband and wife duo, Ron and Deb Hodge, who go by the name New Beginnings, have released their first CD, “The Answer is Christ.”

A blend of traditional and Southern gospel music, the CD recorded by Bruce Goulette of Studio G in Turner, is intended to speak to the heart of the listener.

“We truly hope this CD will minister to folks for many years to come,” said Ron.

Residents of Farmington, the Hodges are caretakers of the Lillian Nordica Homestead Museum on Holley Road. They will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in August.

The two have been singing together for more than 20 years.

This year will be their third year of traveling and ministering in churches across Maine. New Beginnings is a faith-based ministry and operates solely on donations.

New Beginnings recently finished taping for the “Musicians of Maine” television program. It is part of Mount Blue Community Access TV 11, a local cable-access station.
