WILTON, N.H. (AP) – Three horses were killed in a barn fire, officials said.

The restored barn, built in the 1800s, was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived Thursday morning. They saved the house, which was about 20 feet away.

There was no word on what might have caused the three-alarm fire.
