LEWISTON – Jon Roy and Toby Poirier each had two goals and an assist to lead Lewiston to a 9-1 victory over Lawrence in a KVAC varsity hockey matchup Saturday.

Casey Poussard added a goal and two assists, while Brandon Girardin and Robbie Leeman had a goal and an assist each for Lewiston (11-5-1). With the win Lewiston coach Norm Gagne records his 550th career victroy.

GNG/Poland 4, Marshwood 1

HEBRON – Ryan Gilbert came out with two goals less than a minute a part in the first period to power Gray-New Gloucester Poland to 4-1 victory over Marshwood.

Dylan Michaud also added a pair of goals for Gray-New Gloucester Poland, while Cory Cormier chipped in with two assists. Sean Bilodeau stopped 24 shots in net for Poland.

Win-Dale 3, Gardiner 0

HALLOWELL – Junior right wing J.P. Carey scored the opening goal for the only tally Win-Dale would need in a 3-0 blanking of Gardiner in ice hockey action Saturday.

Senior defenseman Seth Kimball assisted on a pair of goals for the Ice Dogs (10-5) in the winning effort. Tavis Hasenfus earned the shutout with 18 saves for Win-Dale.

Brunswick 3, Edward Little 2 (OT)

AUBURN – Wes Caparatto notched the game-winning goal at 1:47 of the overtime frame to propel Brunswick to a 3-2 win over Edward Little in ice hockey action Saturday.

Jake Marcum and Chris Carver scored for the Eddies (4-14).

responded with a pair in the second period from Jake Marcum and Chris Carver to put Edward Little up 2-1 going into the third frame.

Brunswick scored an equalizer in the third period of a back-and-forth contest, before Caparatto flicked the game-winner in overtime.
