BETHEL – The wedding of Abigail S. Ring and Douglas DiPasquale was held at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Geoffrey Gross and Paula Ring, mother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. DiPasquale is the daughter of Richard Ring of Jay and Paula Ring of Wilmington, N.C. Mr. DiPasquale is the son of Thomas and Mary Ellen DiPasquale of Wallingford, Conn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her sisters, Katie and Shiloh Ring, were maids of honor, and bridesmaids were Bethany Sanborn and Jillian Fitzgerald, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Madison DiPasquale, Abigail Ferland and Mia Ferry, nieces of the bridegroom, and Tylor Ring, niece of the bride.

Best men were Matthew and Daniel DiPasquale, brothers of the bridegroom, and groomsmen were Dominic Patrissi, friend of the bridegroom, and William DiPasquale, nephew of the bridegroom. Ushers were Casey Ward, friend of the bridegroom, and Deonte and Brian Ring, nephews of the bride. Ring bearers were Thomas DiPasquale and Jacob Ferland, nephews of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Sunday River Ski Resort Grand Summit Hotel, after which the couple traveled to Aruba. They are residing in Jay.

The bride is a graduate of Jay High School and received a bachelor’s degree in child development and family relations from the University of Maine at Orono. She also received a master’s degree in public health from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn. She is employed as health promotion coordinator for the Maine Municipal Association in Augusta.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Sheehan High School in Wallingford, Conn., and served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Conn. He is a systems specialist for Sugarloaf/USA in Carrabassett Valley.
