LEWISTON – Susan L. Girardin, 48, of Bartlett Street, Lewiston, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, at her home after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 24, 1957, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Goding) Davis.

Susan enjoyed many things, including bingo, movies, going out to eat, spending time with family and friends, and especially time spent with her daughter.

She worked at various shoe factories and restaurants throughout the area until her health rendered her unable to work.

She was predeceased by her aunt and uncle, Nellie and Charles Goding, who also raised her and her brothers from an early age; her brother John Davis; and sister, Virginia Davis.

She is survived by her wonderful daughter, Melissa Girardin, of Lewiston; a sister, Beverly Popolizio of Lewiston; a brother, Jim Davis and his wife, Fern, of Sabattus; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
