SABATTUS – With six positions for taxpayers to vote on this year, the town by the lake may see a facelift in local government come next month.

On March 3, five names will be found on the ballot for two open three-year term positions on the Board of Selectmen. Current Chair Gino Camardese and Selectman William Luce are back on the ballot. Also running are William Henshaw, Donat Fournier Jr. and Tammy Seger. Once the positions are voted on, a chairperson will be named by the board.

School Union 44 also has vacancies for the upcoming year. Joline Lacoste is currently the only name found on the ballot for one of the two three-year-term positions.

The names of three residents will also be on the ballot for the two available seats on the Sanitary and Water District Board of Trustees. Hoping to fill these positions for the next three years are Roland St. Amand, Judy Cyr and Richard Behr.
