FRYEBURG – Helen Lillian Kerr, 84, of Norway died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Fryeburg Healthcare Center, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Newark, N.J., she was a longtime resident of Chester, N.J., where she raised a family. She lived in Otisfield and Homosassa Springs, Fla., before moving to Norway. She was a loving wife and mother with a warm smile and generous heart. She was a wonderful cook and gracious hostess.

Her hobbies included gardening and sewing. She was a tireless volunteer for school, community and church activities. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by Robert, her husband of 65 years; a son, Robert Kerr of Denmark; twin daughters, Eileen Klingler of Otisfield and Patricia Becker of Pohatcong Twp., N.J.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen.
